A striking early 20th century Danish armillary sphere sundial in painted iron with its original vert-de-Nil patina. The form depicts Atlas holding up the globe, pierced by a large arrow as the gnomon, casting a shadow on a copper band pressed with numerals. Currently attached to a flat wooden base, but could easily be attached onto a stone or concrete base.
