A French Painted Zinc “Tub”

A highly decorative wall-hung “tub” in zinc with remnants of original blue & white paint. The French “tubs” were used in the 1800s as a recipient for washing one’s self in and, when not in use, were hung on the wall. This one is particularly striking due the wonderful weathered patina, and would be a great conversation piece as a rustic wall decoration.
